Kim's Collage

My niece Kim made a collage for me from old family photos.
I also loved the envelope and card that she included!
I don't think that she knew how significant the magnolia blossom is....When I was a little girl my Dad planted a magnolia tree. It was beautiful and the blossoms were gorgeous.
It was the only magnolia tree I ever saw in Phoenix!!

Favorite Italian Chocolates

Fiat comes in two flavors....Fiat which is the creamiest milk chocolate, layered with hazelnut cream....or Fiat Noir. A dark chocolate and hazelnut blend. I prefer the milk chocolate...it is soooo creamy!!
PocketCoffee is an adrenaline fix...dark chocolate with a liquid coffee center!!
A perfect antidote to the autostrada!

Sarah Bernhardt postcard

I received an invitation to an exhibit at the International Poster Center. IPC Webpage

We went to the exhibit and I fell for a great postcard of Sarah in her role in L'Aiglon (1900). The card was address to Mademoiselle Ranfer and the note was written by the playwright Edmund Rostund. He was the author of L'Aiglon and Cyrano de Bergerac.
It was great fun seeing the exhibit and putting together the pieces of her life. I also love having a piece of her history living with me!
