The walk from village to village in Cinque Terre is one of my favorite memories. A beautiful place full of light and promise. To leave your soul in the garden of this delight....the gods have such an odd sense of humor.

This is so sad. It is such a beautiful spot to have it all end in such a tragic way.
I promise not to get too close to the edge of the canal, so you won't have to try and rescue me! Still not sure that I want to try the traghetto....If I can sit down, then certainly it would be a great way to go, but not standing up, unless we stand in the middle and hope that everyone else knows how to do it right!!!
