If you can compare Paul's recovery to running a marathon---
Maybe this is the hilly section of the race. You don't breeze through them, you endure them. But you keep moving forward. Run if you can, walk if you need to, take a break and catch your breath if you have to.
It won't matter as long as you stay in the race.
This is just one (hopefully short) chapter in an amazing life.
One of those crazy Ironman triathlete's once said "it's not a race until something goes wrong-a blister, a flat tire, getting kicked--once that happens THEN I know Im racing"
Feel all of the love and support that being sent to you. Put it to good use when you need it--there will always more to draw from.

What a great post! I'm going to copy this and use it when I get to the hills.

Linda, it scares me when you're quiet for so long. We're here for you! If you need me, I'm there in 5 1/2 hours (plus the 2 hours of airport time).
